Autumn

Autumn

I love Autumn. Last October, after getting engaged to my husband, my first concern was to make sure that we took pictures before Autumn had passed! I love the beautiful oranges and yellows seen in this picture’s background.

In honor of my favorite season, I want to share with you my day of fall fun and my favorite fall recipes.

This day of fall fun included the company of a sweet friend, a walk outside, drinking coffee, a trip to the Farmer’s Market, and a night of laughter.

The Nashville Farmer’s Market provided us with beautiful pumpkins! These pumpkins led to the night of laughter. We decided that we needed to paint them and invite some friends from our church to join the fun. What better way to build community than pumpkin painting?

Perfect use of old Trader Joe sacks!

Of course, we didn’t just paint- we ate the prized food of autumn, laughed and listened to good music.

It was encouraging and refreshing to be around them- AND so much fun. I’m thankful for the sweet community God has provided us with through Church.

So now for the Favorite Fall (Paleo) Treats….

Danielle from Against All Grain never lets me down with anything she creates. This is a great recipe, and can even be made into muffins! Just make sure to shorten your baking time to about 25-30 min.

Michelle from Gluten Free Fix has a great list of quick, easy, and delicious recipes! This apple cake is always devoured. I’ve often whipped it up the mornings it’s my turn to take breakfast for Church.

Jenni from Urban Poser is one of my heroes for creating this recipe. Perfect with some added pecans (or even finely diced apples) to really greet these crisp Autumn mornings.

Enjoy 🙂
